Job Description: Valet Attendant

The role of the valet attendant is to provide quick, efficient and (above all else) courteous service to customers, and to assist co-workers in the delivery of great service.

Position Requirements

Education: High school diploma. Additional education preferred but not required. Experience: 10+ years steady work in service or manufacturing industry. This is not a “first job” position. Attitude: Individual must have a genuine “customer service” attitude: do whatever it takes to keep the customer happy. We are a service business, advertising “Friendly Service.” Team work is essential in this position, so the individual must be friendly, flexible and able to get along with a variety of people. They must be quick to laugh and slow to anger. The individual assigned to this position must:
  • Be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English
  • Be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Be able to walk and/or jog short and long distances
  • Be able to function for extended periods in all environmental conditions (cold, rain, etc.)
  • Possess the manual dexterity to safely operate a motor vehicle, including manual stick shift
  • Minimally possess a valid Ohio Operator’s License, and a clean driving record

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The individual in this position will be responsible for:
  • Vehicle Parking: Assessment and documentation of any vehicle damage prior to taking possession, safe operation of the customer’s vehicle; in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances, parking of customer vehicles in designated spaces within the designated lot, recording of parking space location and number on valet ticket, and delivery of keys and ticket to the Cashier.
  • Vehicle Retrieval: Upon request, retrieval of said vehicles to the point of request and use of valet parking system devices in accordance with company policy.
  • Customer Service: Make customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction, and assistance with opening of vehicle/building doors as required by customers.

Other Assigned Duties:

  • Safety and well-being of all employees, customers, and co-workers
  • Reporting of all incidents in accordance with company policies
  • Any other duties specifically assigned by the General Manager or Cashier

Job Description: Cashier

The role of the cashier is to provide first rate customer service while ensuring that all transactions meet company practices for revenue control.

Position Requirements

Education: High school diploma. Additional education preferred but not required. Experience: 10+ years steady work in service or manufacturing industry. This is not a “first job” position. Attitude: Individual must have a genuine “customer service” attitude: do whatever it takes to keep the customer happy. We are a service business, advertising “Friendly Service.” Team work is essential in this position, so the individual must be friendly, flexible and able to get along with a variety of people. They must be quick to laugh and slow to anger. The individual assigned to this position must:
  • Be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English
  • Be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Be able to walk short distances
  • Possess the manual dexterity to operate basic office equipment, including computers and cash registers
  • Possess the mental acuity to be able to process cash transactions

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The individual in this position will be responsible for:
  • Customer Service: Make customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction.
  • Transactions: Process cash, credit cards, and validation transactions based upon established fees and procedures.
  • Valet Process: Process and verify valet ticket requests for customers requesting retrieval of their vehicle.
  • Shift Report: Document all transactions in accordance with company policy.
  • Money Drop: Be accountable for all cash received and tendered, and disposition of such cash according to procedure.

Other Assigned Duties:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, front desk and customer service areas
  • Safety and well-being of all employees, customers, and co-workers
  • Reporting of all incidents in accordance with company policies
  • Assist with operations as directed by the General Manager
  • Assist co-workers in the completion of their duties, as necessary.
  • Any other duties specifically assigned by any management personnel

Job Description: Shuttle Driver

The role of the shuttle driver is to provide quick, efficient, courteous and (above all else) safe service to customers, and to assist co-workers in the delivery of great service.

Education: High school diploma. Additional education preferred but not required. Experience: 10+ years steady work in service or manufacturing industry. This is not a “first job” position. Attitude: Individual must have a genuine “customer service” attitude: do whatever it takes to keep the customer happy. We are a service business, advertising “Friendly Service.” Team work is essential in this position, so the individual must be friendly, flexible and able to get along with a variety of people. They must be quick to laugh and slow to anger. The individual assigned to this position must:
  • Be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English
  • Be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Be able to lift heavy luggage repeatedly
  • Be able to walk and/or jog short and long distances
  • Be able to function for extended periods in all environmental conditions (cold, rain, etc.)
  • Possess the manual dexterity to safely operate a motor vehicle, including manual stick shift
  • Minimally possess a valid Ohio Operator’s License, and a clean driving record. CDL preferred!

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The individual in this position will be responsible for:
  • Shuttle Operation: Greet customers, assist with luggage, operate shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner at all times. Inspect and maintain equipment.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate via radio regularly with Desk Clerk and other Driver(s) so that they know where you are, you know where they are, and we are providing the most fast and efficient service possible to each customer.
  • Customer Service: Make customer service, care and satisfaction the priority in every interaction, and assistance with opening of vehicle/building doors as required by customers.
